From Festival Booths to Online Shelves: How Wondrous Kid Co. Got Started
When we first started Wondrous Kid Co., it wasn’t from a boardroom or business plan—it was from the back of a tent at our local weekend market.
We began as a small vendor, setting up shop at local festivals and fairs, sharing our products with fellow parents who were just as tired of overcomplicated baby gear as we were. It was such a joy to connect in person, hear real-time feedback, and see how our products made life a little easier for families.
But as any parent knows, weekends are precious—especially with a toddler at home. Between loading up the car, setting up the booth, and spending full days outdoors (rain or shine!), it quickly became clear that running a weekend-based business wasn’t sustainable for our growing family.
That’s when we made the decision to take Wondrous Kid Co. online.
By moving to an online shop, we’re able to share our practical, multifunctional products with more families—without giving up valuable time with our little one. It’s been a big shift, but one that allows us to keep doing what we love: creating helpful products for parents who are navigating real life, just like we are.
